Bill Buckley would have been proud. Heeding Buckley's advice M'Cain got no further than page one of the National Phone Book to select a candidate stand with him against the Washington elite class.
Moses Sands must be proud, too. The Common Man...er Woman...once again is represented in the halls of power. (Can anyone name the last one?)
The Sands Institute (thesandsinstitute.org) is all about the Common Man and Woman but Sara Palin is no ordinary C-Student. We have no idea how the M'Cain organization came up with the criteria, if they did at all (even blind pigs can come up with an acorn from time to time). Perhaps it was the hand of Providence. Moses thought He thought we had abandoned Him. Seems He hasn't recripocated.
But the notion of Citizen-politician is out there again, as is the model. We'll be taking notes.
So far, good show, John M'Cain. We'll be watching.
