St George made a good point in his analysis of the Bachmann hanging at greatamericanzeroes.com.
In short, one can not be both a socialist, even a milquetoast Swedish socialist, and also be pro-American in any historical and constitutional sense. Liberty as we have known it has to be "changed", as does the Constitution have to be rewritten so that all we will have is a document carrying the same name, but about as linked to the original piece as a candy cane will be if it named the new symbol of Christmas.
We already know Obama understands this. His words have spoken loud and clear. And his socialism is not of the innocent Scandinavian variety. His, as has always been his colleagues', is a "get even" socialism, which is why so many layabout college kids support him. It will not be pretty.
But, unlike most of our missives here, we'll open the floor to comment. We may join in.
