In September my esteemed colleague, Mr Bushmills posted a piece about the
French saving civilization, on the theory that the Russians, who could also do this terrible thing, don't really know all that much about civilization.
From time to time we simply need to repeat the call:
If total war is to be avoided in the Middle East, it must be a third party who blows Iran's nuclear capabilities to smithereens. Only the French and Sarkozy have 1) the military capability, 2) the cultural insight, and 3) the manhood to do this.
We repeat our call: Set loose the Frogs of war!
